WHITENED YOUR TEETH WITHIN 3 MINUTES

Image
This method could replace teeth whitening treatments that we all know It seems strange to use black powder in order to whiten teeth, but it really works. Charcoal is effective in absorbing tannins. Tannins are compounds that are found in tea, herbal tea, coffee, snuff, spices, wine and other food. Another good reason why to use charcoal is because it helps to set the minerals (such as calcium) in teeth, it can’t damage the enamel of the teeth, so you can use it every day. How to use it: The procedure is very simple. Carefully open one capsule of activated carbon (that you can find in pharmacy) and pour it into your mouth. Use a toothbrush, and assign it only for this purpose. Brush teeth thoroughly for about 10 minutes, than spit and rinse thoroughly. After this, brush your teeth as usual. You should notice dramatic change within a week.

First Nigeria Anthem

Image
The second national anthem, " Arise, O Compatriots," replaced "Nigeria, We Hail Thee" in 1978. Criticism When it was first announced, the new national anthem faced criticism for a number of reasons. The Daily Service, a newspaper run by the Yoruba organisation Egbé Ọmọ Odùduwà , started a campaign against the anthem, which led to a committee being established to collect signatures as a petition. "Nigeria, We Hail Thee" (1960-1978) Nigeria, we hail thee, Our own dear native land, Though tribe and tongue may differ, In brotherhood we stand, Nigerians all are proud to serve Our sovereign Motherland. Our flag shall be a symbol That truth and justice reign, In peace or battle honour'd, And this we count as gain, To hand on to our children A banner without stain. O God of all creation, Grant this our one request, Help us to build a nation Where no man is oppressed, And so with peace and plenty Nigeria may be blessed. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki...

The Origin Of Names Of Nigeria States

Image
*Abia* Abia is an acronym derived from the name of the four main groups of the people in the state as at the time it was formed in 1991: Aba, Bende, Isuikwuato & Afikpo. *Adamawa* This state was named after a warrior that conquered the region in the beginning of the 19th century. His name was Modibbo Adama Bin Ardo Hassan. *Akwa-Ibom* Akwa Ibom is named after a river, the Qua Iboe (or Kwa Iboe) River. *Anambra* It was derived from the name of the Oma Mbala (Omambala) River (in Igbo, the native name of the river is Ànyịm Ọma Mbala). *Bauchi* There are three versions of how Bauchi got its name. One version says ‘Bauchi’ is Hausa word meaning the southern flanks of Hausaland. Tribes living in the southern parts of the Hausaland were referred to as "kasashen bauchi" and the area they lived in later came to be known simply as Bauchi. Bauchi. According to the second version, the state was named after Baushe, a famous hunter who settled there before the 19th century...

Naira Sign (₦) On A Keyboard?

I'm curious about this, but do keyboards purchased in Nigeria have the proper symbol for Naira like a $ symbol? You do not need a special keyboard to use the Naira (₦) symbol, but you need special fonts to display it on your PC. The Arial Unicode MS, Tahoma and Lucida Sans Unicode fonts, which come with Windows XP, display the naira sign properly. You may simply cut and paste the naira symbol below into applications like MS Office or Firefox which have good unicode support: ₦ Pretty, isn't it? (This post will be updated later in the day) New discoveries: The Tahoma font also displays the naira sign properly (₦) in Internet Explorer. The Lucida Sans Unicode font also displays the naira sign (₦) properly in Internet Explorer. The Arial font does not display the naira sign properly in Internet Explorer(₦). The TImes New Roman font also does not display the naira sign properly in Internet Explorer(₦).
